Andrea trained at the Royal Northern College of Music, and the Centre de Formation Lyrique of the Paris Opera. Winner of the NZ Mobil Song Quest, the Webster Booth Award, Countess of Munster Scholarship, Peter Moores Scholarship and Anne Ziegler Award - Andrea has been mentored by the Singers Development Foundation, New York and won the Opera Prize of the Cercle Carpeaux de Paris. In her final year as a young artist of the Paris Opera Andrea was awarded the prestigious Prix dA.R.O.P for her outstanding debut performance.
Most recently Andrea returned to the Paris Opera to sing the Premi?re Pr?tresse in IPHIG?NIE EN TAURIDE and then toured England and France as Rosina in IL BARBIERE DI SIVIGLIA.
Andrea has sung principle roles for many international and national companies including: Paris Opera, Atelier Lyrique de Tourcoing, New Zealand Opera, Savoy Opera, Op?ra Bordeaux, Op?ra de Tours, Op?ra de Nantes, Festival dAix en Provence, Iford Festival, Mananan Festival, NZ Festival of the Arts, Festival LHaras du Pin. Roles performed include: Susanna, Countess Almaviva, Zauberm?dchen - PARSIFAL, Frasquita, Valencienne, Infantin/Zweite Gespielin - DER ZWERG, Nanetta, Despina, Fiordiligi, Ilia, Norina, Rosina, Ad?le, Antonia/Stella - HOFFMAN, Adina, Anna - DIE SIEBEN TODS?NDEN, Mabel - PIRATES OF PENZANCE.
She is an especially sought after recitalist and her concert work includes engagements with many regional and international orchestras.
