Joanne was an original cast member of THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, dancing in both the Melbourne and Sydney seasons between 1990-1994. Joanne trained in Sydney with Tanya Pearson, Marilyn Jones and Garth Welsh before travelling to Melbourne to study for three years at the Australian Ballet School.
Joanne performed with the Victorian State Opera in Carmen, Pearl Fishers and other freelance performances. She completed a Diploma of Dance Teaching for professional dancers at the Australian Ballet School, graduating with distinction in 1997. Joanne has completed a Fitnation Certificate Three and a Pilates Fitness Certificate.
She has established her own dance school in Melbourne called Dance Extensions and teaches a variety of forms of dance in addition to choreographing end of year productions. Joanne is thrilled to be back working on THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
