During this five year period, he became a household name. In 2002 John produced and directed a documentary TV Special that showcased the extraordinary experiences of the YTT cast and, not only was it one of that years highest rating programs, but it has since been a huge success on DVD.
Most recently John was part of premiere season of CATS in Athens, Greece. Other shows, in various parts of the world, include HELLO DOLLY, A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM, THE FANTASTICKS and PHANTOM OF THE OPERA.
A concert version of ELEGIES in 2000, including an all-star cast, was produced by John at Melbournes Athenaeum Theatre and raised money for the Victorian Aids Trust.
