Kyle Stevens
Ensemble
Melbourne born Kyle Stevens began his dance training at 15 years of age at Dance World 301. He then went on to train at the New Zealand School of Dance where he graduated in 2003 with a National Diploma in Dance Performance.
Whilst training in New Zealand Kyle performed Balanchines Concerto Barocco, Tchaikovsky pad de duex and Divertimento No 15, Graeme Murphys Sequenza VII, Double Contrast by Choo Sang Goh, Jabula by Natalie Weir, The Brown Pax de deux from RETURN TO A STRANGE LAND and the pas de quatre and finale by Jiri Kylian, Jardi Tancat by Nacho Duato, MONOTONES II by Sir Kenneth Macmillan and a solo created for him, A MAN GAMBLING by Leigh Warren. Kyle worked with the Royal New Zealand Ballet on their 6 week national tour TUTUS ON TOUR.
He joined West Australian Ballet in 2004 and some highlights are Ted Bransons ROMEO & JULIET, MUNALDJALI by Stevens Page, Tour of China, Bangkok and the East Coast of Australia with Simons Dows LA BOHEME and dancing on point as an ugly stepsister in CINDERELLA.
THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA is Kyles Musical Theatre debut; he would like to thank his mum and friends for their love and continuous support.
