Ensemble

A graduate from NASDA with a bachelor in performing arts, The National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art in Christchurch, New Zealand, Michael also has been a singing teacher and Musical Director at NASDA for the past 5 years.

At the Court Theatre, Christchurch he has appeared in SOUTH PACIFIC, MY FAIR LADY, OLIVER!, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, GUYS AND DOLLS, OLD WICKED SONGS, CABARET, KISS ME KATE, MUMS CHOIR, FLAGONS AND FOXTROTS, BOMBSHELLS (the last six he also musically directed). At the Fortune Theatre, Dunedin, he has appeared in/musically directed DIRTY WEEKENDS, NUNSENSE JAMBOREE, OLD WICKED SONGS, THE JUNGLE BOOK, WIND IN THE WILLOWS, TAMING OF THE SHREW, SLICE OF SATURDAY NIGHT, THE PIED PIPER.

At Nasda he musically directed CITY OF ANGELS, BABY, BAT BOY, THE HAPPY PRINCE, MARAT SADE, THE TRIAL, THE WORLD GOES ROUND, MY FAVORITE YEAR and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND. He also played Herod in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR and Old Deuteronomy in CATS for Showbiz Christchurch.
