Natasha Hunter is a graduate of the NSW Conservatorium of Music Opera Studio. She has been a finalist in the McDonalds Operatic Aria, the Covent Garden National Opera Studio Scholarship and the National Aria in Canberra.
Natasha played the roles of Sophie de Palma and Sharon Graham in Terence McNallys MASTER CLASS with the Sydney Theatre Company and, later, in the national touring productions.
For Opera Australia, she has sung Celia in IOLANTHE, Fiametta in THE GONDOLIERS and taken leading roles the OA Schools Company productions of THE MAGIC FLUTE and HANSEL AND GRETEL.
Natasha made her international debut performing as soprano soloist in LES GRANDS AIRS DOP?RA for Ecole Territoriale de Music in Noumea. She toured Scandanavia as guest soloist with the Sydney Youth Orchestra and has lived and studied in Italy attending summer programs with the Manhatten School of Music and Rossini Opera Festival later studying voice with Maria Chiara.
Natashas concert engagaements include CAROLS BY CANDLELIGHT at Parliament House, Canberra; she also appeared as the French Singer in the feature film THE QUIET AMERICAN.
