Simon Meadows was born in Sydney and moved to Melbourne in 1990 and graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1993 with a BA(Music) and in 1996(Grad Dip Opera). He has work with Opera Australia since 1995 as chorister and soloist in many productions.
Other companies Simon has worked with include Melbourne Opera Company, Co-Opera(SA), Victorian Opera and also Chambermade Opera where he was nominated for a Green Room Award for his portrayal of Rupert Brooke in the world premier performance of Nicholas Vines opera THE HIVE.
Simons interests outside of singing include being a keen sportsman. He has been a state league calibre athlete which included being a Victorian relay championship winner. He also enjoys keeping active by cycling and playing Ultimate Frisbee.
